SLIP basic inspection hatches

SLIP basic inspection hatches Designed for easy access to various utility systems (meters, valves, technical niches, pipelines, etc.) in both interior and exterior walls (under roofing). Suitable for finishing with lightweight materials such as:

• ceramic tiles (up to 10 mm thick)
• porcelain stoneware (up to 6 mm thick)
• mosaic
• HPL panels (up to 20 mm thick)
• and materials of similar weight

Construction features:

• Frame structure made from 20×40×2 mm steel profile
• The door frame is made from a 15×15×2 mm profile, with a 10 mm thick KNAUF gypsum fiberboard (GVL) panel attached to it.
• SLIP Basic profiles are manufactured from hot-rolled black steel.
• The steel is phosphated and coated with polyester powder paint, ensuring reliable protection against corrosion.
• Welding seams are executed using the MIG method in compliance with the international DIN EN ISO 5817 standard.

Opening mechanism:

• The hatch opens without a handle – a push-to-open mechanism with HEFELE Mini-Latch is used, ensuring a 110° opening angle.
• The front-opening mechanism protects the finishing material from potential cracks.
• The door movement is ensured by a simple double-hinge system, without additional steel tubing between structural components.

Measurements:

• Total construction depth: 52 mm + 13 mm (lock protrusion) = 65 mm.
• Minimum door dimensions: 200×200 mm (can be made 150×150 mm without hinges).
• Maximum door dimensions: 700×1700 mm.

Double door versions:

• Horizontal layout: up to 1200×1700 mm (two 600×1700 mm doors without a middle divider).
• Vertical layout: up to 700×2500 mm (two 700×1250 mm doors without a middle divider).

Note: this model does not have door adjustment mechanisms.
